The processing of a wide range of applications both for documents as well as for enclosures and at up to 8,200 insertions per hour – these are just some of the strengths of the Vario inserting system. From 1-channel to 4-channel system, the user can create individual configurations. Thanks to the infinitely adjustable speed control the Vario settings can be optimally adjusted to suit the widest range of material qualities.
Focus on enclosure versatility

\r\n- Four different feeder types are available for the widest range of enclosures such as leaflets, brochures, postcards, reply envelopes etc.:
\r\n- The vacuum feeder is suited in particular for processing individual sheets, multifold enclosures with closed feeding edge and glossy paper.
\r\n- The booklet feeder provides for the insertion of check or coupon leaflets up to a thickness of 5mm.
\r\n- The friction feeder processes for example vertical or Z-folded open-edge enclosures.
\r\n- The folding feeder offers the facility for taking up large, unfolded enclosures and folding them into an envelope format.
\r\n- In conjunction with Optimal Mark Recognition (OMR) the folding feeder can also be used as an intelligent input channel for cut sheet processing.

Wide range of applications -thanks to modularity
The modular concept of the Vario inserting system offers the right system configuration to suit almost every application. The components are combined
in such a way as to enable applications such as continuous or cut sheet processing, assembling before or after folding, sorting, franking etc. to be easily realized.
State-of-the-art software to meet demanding requirements
It goes without saying that the system comes with state-of-the-art software solutions that provide e.g. for the scanning and processing of all standard codes. With the help of the BICOS operating and information system, the system allows for simple and efficient control and creates a log of all operator relevant data for analysis purposes. It is also the basis for expanded software functions. The software also provides for integration within higher level networks that monitor the entire production process, ensuring transparency.
The handling process is controlled and monitored by the improved KOMPOS II control unit: from paper infeed to envelope draw off and collation of documents as well as enclosures, through to the actual inserting and stacking process, everything is under control.
