The Chequebook Dispenser CBD 1000HT is designed specifically for the production of cheques / chequebooks from cheques "blanks"containing all background and non variable information, all variable information being provided by the CBD 1000H system.The CBD 1000H is equipped with two feed stations: one for the cheque "blanks", the other for covers, reorder forms etc.The cheque "blanks" may be partially completed (variable information) with branch address and partial/complete encoding of the MICRcode line. The CBD 1000H, fitted in the back office cabinet, can be used in back office solution to simplify the service of the Bank Operators in issuing cheques or cheque books for their customers.

FEED STATION
Feed station number one holds 1.500 cheques of paper thickness 0,11 mm and feed station number two holds 600 covers and order forms of paper thickness 0,11 mm. Both feed stations may be armour plated and lockable for security purposes. Also P.I.N. protection is available together with the automatic recording of the number of times the cover has been opened

CODE LINE PRINTER
The code line printer is of steel font wheel design, it is rugged and fast and has no fragile plastic parts. The code line printer will print in any of the recognised magnetic characters (E13B-CMC7)

CODE LINE READER
This unit checks the accuracy and quality of the printed code line. It is available for all recognised code lines MICR (E13B-CMC7)

CODE LINE RIBBON
Interchangeable cartridge. Capacity more than 60.000 characters MICR magnetic ink according to ISO standard

TEXT PRINTER
The text printing (bank branch address, personalisation, cheque number in plain print) is carried out by three 24 needles dot matrix printers (selection depends on quality and/or number of lines required). The vertical position of all three is hand adjustable and the horizontal start/stop position is software adjustable. Print quality example: 24 needles dot matrix print head, for two simultaneous lines, gives draft quality - 24 needles dot matrix print head, printing one line, gives near letter quality. Up to 6 lines of text may be printed depending on quality selection.

REJECTION BIN
All cheques, showing irregularities, are sent to the rejection bin, having first been invalidated by the printing of "cancelled" or other legend (up to the three lines of text) and by the perforation ofa row of horizontal holes, thus avoiding all chance of fraud.

STAPLING UNIT
The cheque book is stitched by the stapling unit which is of special design to ensure tight stapling irrespective of whether the book is thick or thin. Maximum number of sheets (thickness 0,11 mm) in chequebook including covers and reorder form: 53

BINDING STATION
